Feral Bear Druid: Rotation
The Feral Bear priorities, top to bottom: use the first one that applies.
Level 42–60 (projected)
- Dire Bear Form from 40.
- Primal Bite on cooldown.
- Faerie Fire kept up.
- Demoralizing Roar kept up on bosses.
- Swipe when there is more than one target.
- Maul with excess rage.
Pulling a pack
- Berserk from 40:
Primal Bite hits three targets with no cooldown for 15 s; have rage ready first. Unconfirmed (in client data or one guide only) - Swipe on the three mobs the group is damaging.
- Primal Bite on whatever is loose, by tab-targeting.
- Challenging Roar when the pack runs to the healer: 6 s of forced attention, 10-minute cooldown.
- Growl on a single loose mob; 8-second cooldown.
Cooldowns and emergencies
- Frenzied Regeneration turns up to 10 rage a second into 1% health each for 10 s; 3-minute cooldown.
- Barkskin from 44: 20% less physical damage, usable in form.
- Enrage 10 rage now and 20 over 10 s, at the cost of armour; better before the pull than in a spike.
- Bash a stun to stop a dangerous cast;
Brutal Impact cuts its cooldown. - Feral Charge its tooltip says it interrupts a cast for 4 s; Blizzard says Druids can't interrupt. Test before you rely on it. Unconfirmed (in client data or one guide only)
While leveling
- Faerie Fire free in form; for the armour cut. Known issue: it causes no threat (not listed as fixed).
- Demoralizing Roar on packs that hit hard.
- Primal Bite on cooldown; spend Clearcasting on it.
- Swipe on two or three mobs; tab between targets.
- Maul with rage you won't need for the next
Primal Bite.
