Holy Paladin: Rotation

Client build 1.60.1.70425 · updated

The Holy priorities, top to bottom: use the first one that applies.

Healing priority (level 30)

  1. Blessing of Wisdom on yourself, or the Blessing your group asks for. Kings if nobody else brings it.
  2. Seal of Light judge it on long fights so melee attackers heal themselves. A Retribution Paladin's Holy Strike keeps it refreshed (Sacred Arbiter). From 38, Seal of Wisdom's Judgement returns mana instead.
  3. Divine Favor before a Holy Shock or Holy Light that must land big: a guaranteed crit, which also triggers Infusion of Light from Holy Shock.
  4. Holy Light with an Infusion of Light proc (a second off the cast) on whoever is in danger. Hold the proc for incoming damage, not a nearly full target.
  5. Holy Shock an instant heal on the 10-second cooldown, for emergencies or when you have to move.
  6. Flash of Light your filler and main heal: the most healing per mana for damage it can cover.
  7. Holy Light without a proc only when a smaller heal would leave someone in danger and you have mana to spare.

Group damage (level 40 and up)

  1. Light's Vigil on a member of the party taking damage (one Vigil per party at a time). Unconfirmed
  2. Holy Shock on that target: no cooldown is triggered and the whole party is healed. Then Holy Shock again normally. Unconfirmed
  3. Flash of Light to top up whoever the party heal missed.

Holy Shock on friend, enemy or self
#showtooltip Holy Shock
/cast [mod:alt,@player][@mouseover,exists,nodead][exists,nodead][@player] Holy Shock

Mouseover first, then your target, then you. Hold Alt to heal yourself. Not yet tested in the Forever client. Unconfirmed

Divine Favor into a heal
#showtooltip [mod:shift] Flash of Light; Holy Light
/cast Divine Favor
/cast [mod:shift,@mouseover,help,nodead][mod:shift] Flash of Light; [@mouseover,help,nodead][help,nodead][@player] Holy Light

Press twice when Divine Favor is ready: once for Favor, once for the heal. Untested. Unconfirmed

Light's Vigil, then Holy Shock (40+)
#showtooltip [mod:shift] Holy Shock; Light's Vigil
/cast [mod:shift,@mouseover,exists,nodead][mod:shift,exists,nodead] Holy Shock; [@mouseover,exists,nodead][exists,nodead][@player] Light's Vigil

Plain press marks the target with Light's Vigil; Shift-press shocks it. Untested. Unconfirmed
