Fire Mage: Rotation

Single target

1. 
   Pyroblast to open from range on a fresh target (its burn lasts 12 s).
2. 
   Scorch until your Improved Scorch is at five stacks on a target that will live; refresh before 30 s run out.
3. 
   Pyroblast at three Heating Up stacks (1.5 s cast), or at two if you only have time for a 3 s cast.
4. 
   Fireball as the filler. From 40, use Frostfire Bolt instead, which also slows. Unconfirmed (in client data or one guide only)
5. 
   Fire Blast to finish or while moving; every cast adds a Heating Up stack.

Packs

1. 
   Flamestrike first, on a pack the tank holds. Only one of yours can burn at a time.
2. 
   Blast Wave from 30 when they close in: damage and a 50% daze.
3. 
   Arcane Explosion while they stand on you.
4. 
   Cone of Cold to slow them and step away.

Cooldowns and emergencies

• 
  Combustion from 40: each Fire hit adds 10% Fire crit until three more crits land. Have Scorch stacks up first. Unconfirmed (in client data or one guide only)
• 
  Presence of Mind with an Arcane-split build: an instant Pyroblast.
• 
  Evocation in long fights.
• 
  Fire Ward against Fire casters: absorbs 913 Fire damage at top rank, and with Improved Fire Ward can reflect.

Macros are untested in the Forever client unless a label says otherwise.
